4x4 Jeep Scenic Country Ride

Begin your jeep ride travelling through rugged hills and valleys past Kouris Dam, the largest man made dam-lake on Cyprus. Stop for photographs at the Dam and continue to the picturesque medieval village of Lofou founded by King James the 1st.  The houses are unique in traditional architecture, cobbled streets are narrow and winding with wine jars still lying close to the entrances of the houses. Take a short walk through the village and admire its quaintness then continue off road through the forested region of Mesa Potamos. A stop will be made at an idyllic vantage point for panoramic views and photographs of the region before you reach a tiny waterfall set amidst lush vegetation. Let the sound of the cool spring water and the crispy clean fresh woody smells relax both your soul and body. Your next stop will be at Mandria village to visit a local winery and sample some of the home grown excellent table wines.

Special Notes:
Tour suitable for elderly but not wheelchair confined persons or with limited walking capabilities. Participants must be able to climb onto jeeps without assistance. Jeeps carry 8 persons seated at the back in two rows facing each other. Comfortable walking shoes and sun hat recommended. Jeeps carry 8 persons each
