The Dead Sea Experience

Drive through the desert on King’s Highway to Madaba where some of the finest Byzantine mosaics are found together with the ancient mosaic map of the world and Jerusalem.

Madaba, known for the beautiful Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics has remains of a Roman road still visible amidst the modern town's road system.

Visit the Greek Orthodox church of St. George where the earliest surviving original map of the Holy Land can be seen.

Made around 560AD by the artist Salamos it includes about 150 biblical sites known in Byzantine times on both sides of the Jordan River. Central focus of the map is the walled city of Jerusalem.

A short drive west of Madaba will bring you to Mount Nebo’s peak from where Moses looked across to the Promised Land.

A commemorative signpost and a small chapel are erected at the site. On a clear day you can see as far as Jerusalem.

Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and continue to the Dead Sea.

A welcome drink will be served during check in. Rest of the afternoon free at leisure to make arrangements for spa treatments with hotel’s spa centre or take a swim. Dinner at hotel and overnight.

Lying 400 meters below sea level the Dead Sea is the lowest spot on earth.

Devoid of any life due to the extremely high content of salt and minerals, these elements thanks to their curative powers make the Dead Sea an ideal destination for spas and medical treatments providing the raw materials for the world famous sea bath salts and mudpacks.

You can float on the water unable to sink due to the high salinity, soak up the sun or cover yourselves in the special mud. Enjoy the experience, relax and rejuvenate.

Check out at noon, enjoy a buffet lunch and board the coach for the return trip to Aqaba, arriving late afternoon.

Special Notes:
Appointments for spa treatments at the hotel's center can be made and paid directly to the spa.

Few steps at Mt Nebo.
